Dries Kunnen
Meet Dries Kunnen
I’m Dries Kunnen, a sports physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Antwerp, with a particular interest in the musculoskeletal system and the rehabilitation of sports-related injuries.
My approach starts with a thorough assessment and a clear understanding of your symptoms, goals and individual circumstances. From there, we’ll develop a personalised treatment plan, with active exercise therapy and evidence-based practice at its core. My goal? To help you move more freely, become stronger and regain confidence in your body.
Peak Physio Antwerp is already a familiar environment to me. During my studies, I completed an internship here and experienced the team’s personal, goal-oriented approach to physiotherapy. This way of working closely matches my own philosophy and convinced me to join the team as a physiotherapist.
Sport also plays an important role in my life outside the clinic. I combine calisthenics (bodyweight strength training) with running and cycling. I also enjoy playing football, volleyball and padel. Practising a variety of sports myself helps me understand the physical demands they place on the body and the importance of regaining confidence in movement after an injury.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, looking to return to your favourite sport or simply wanting to move more comfortably in everyday life, we’ll work together towards a lasting recovery tailored to your goals.
